There’s a good chance that you don’t love your job. A lot of people don’t. They do it because they have to—they need money, but they don’t want to spend their days doing something they’re not that into.
But here’s the thing: If you’re not doing what you want to do every day, how are you going to feel about yourself? And how are you going to feel about the world around you?
If we all worked at jobs we hated and then went home to do things we didn’t like, who would be out there making sure there are fresh flowers in the grocery store and that our roads get plowed in the winter? Who would be out there saving lives, or helping kids learn how to read? Who would be out there doing all of those things, if not people who loved what they did?
I’ll tell you who: no one! That’s right—no one would be doing any of those amazing things if everyone decided they were just going to hate life and stay home because it’s easier than working hard and being happy.
So here’s my advice: find something that makes you feel good about yourself, whether it’s volunteering or starting a business or stripping. It doesn’t matter as long as you’re happy!
Here’s how to spice up your day.
Shout at co-workers for no apparent reason
Shouting at co-workers for no reason is super funny.
It’s not just funny because you’re a jerk, though. It’s funny because it makes other people feel like you’re a jerk, too. You see, when you shout at someone for no reason, it makes them feel like you think they’re an idiot or something—and then they get mad at themselves for thinking that way about themselves! You just made them feel dumb and embarrassed! That’s hilarious!
So next time someone tells you to stop shouting at people for no reason in the break room, just tell them “I’m not shouting!” and then proceed to shout at them for no reason. They’ll be so confused by the whole thing that it will take their mind off the fact that YOU’RE SHOUTING AT THEM FOR NO REASON!
Puff a Some Recreational THC
I’m writing this from a place of experience.
I mean, I’ve been working in the cannabis industry for a while now, and I’ve seen some pretty wild things. But I have to admit: the latest trend in vape cartridges has me shook.
I’m talking about live resin vape carts, baby. They’re basically what it sounds like: you get a pure extract of THC oil, with no other additives or ingredients. Just pure, concentrated THC.
And when you take a puff from one of these bad boys? Man oh MAN is it an experience!
First of all, there’s the taste. It’s not like anything you’ve ever tried before—it’s earthy and woodsy and fresh-picked-from-the-backyard kind of deliciousness (if that makes any sense). And then there are the effects! You feel invigorated and alert almost immediately after taking your first hit; ready to go tackle whatever challenges await you today!
If you’re looking for something to help get through your work day without feeling overwhelmed by stress or anxiety, live resin THC vape cartridges might just be what you need!
Bring Some Kittens to The Office
We all know the feeling: you walk into the office, and everyone seems to be in a bad mood. You’re not sure why. Maybe it’s just that Monday thing again, or maybe it’s because it’s been so long since anyone brought kittens to the office.
Either way, if you want to liven up the work day for everyone, here are some things you can do:
Wear bright colors. Bright colors are known to make both kittens and people feel happy and upbeat, which can help your coworkers feel happier as well.
Bring kittens to the office! This is a great way to get everyone excited about their day ahead of time and ready to tackle anything that comes their way (or at least snuggle a kitten).
Put on some music while you work—not too loud though! We don’t want any kittens getting distracted too much by music they like… just enough so they feel like they’re going somewhere when they listen to it.
If you hate your job, just quit!
I’m sure you’ve heard this advice before: if you don’t like your job, quit and find a better one. But I can’t help but wonder—if that’s the case, why do so many people stay in their jobs for years and years despite hating them?
I have a theory. The reason people are afraid to quit their jobs is because they think they’ll be lacking in money and security if they do so. And while that might be true on paper, there’s another side to this story that very few people talk about: being unhappy at work makes you more likely to get sick, feel stressed out, and generally just not enjoy being alive.
Sure, it might seem scary to give up your steady paycheck in exchange for an uncertain future where you may or may not be able to pay all your bills on time—but consider how much worse off you’ll be if you stay miserable at work!
So forget what everyone tells you. If you hate your job, just quit and find a better one!
