The vaping industry has taken quite a beating because of this. Nevertheless, it has recovered and grown with a booming CAGR of 30% until 2030. Moreover, buying from trusted brands like Vaporesso is another way you can be sure that these myths are only myths. Vaping isn’t harmful!

Top myths about vaping that are entirely false

Here are some top myths revolving around vaping that need to be busted! Read on to find out.

Vapes explode in your pocket.

There is no denying that such incidents have occurred, but it is only because these vapes weren’t looked after well. Think about it, why would batteries explode for no reason.

Although, here is an explanation for why these vapes must have exploded.

  • They are kept in your pocket with other metal objects (e.g., keys)
  • The vape has been damaged due to improper use and maintenance.
  • They have been pushed to the absolute limit because of various other factors.

Vapes have nicotine in them, so they are probably dangerous.

One of the biggest stereotypes revolving around vapes is that they have nicotine, which might cause cancer. Although, people misunderstand that nicotine is the only content in cigarettes that causes cancer.

Contrary to this opinion, the National Institute of Cancer concludes that there are around 7000 chemicals in cigarettes, out of which 250 stand a high chance of causing cancer. Luckily, none of these chemicals is present in a vape, meaning that they won’t lead to cancer down the line.

Moreover, if you get your vapes from trusted brands like Vaporesso, you don’t have to worry about this.

Vaping leads to smoking in teenage non-smokers.

Many people think that vape companies are targeting kids and forcing them on a path of smoking cigarettes. This is a myth since vaping is an age-restricted activity, and they aren’t sold to kids below the age of 18.

Moreover, comprehensive studies have been conducted, and no evidence vaping has normalized smoking cigarettes amongst kids.

Vaping is not going to help you quit smoking.

One of the biggest myths circulating about vaping is that it isn’t going to help you quit smoking. Although, studies have found that vaping is a lot more effective in assisting people in quitting smoking than using patches or gum for nicotine replacement therapy.

Vaping isn’t safe during pregnancy.

Many people must have told you that vaping is extremely unsafe during pregnancy. Although it is not entirely harmless, it is a lot less harmful than smoking tobacco.

So if you are a pregnant mom trying to quit smoking, it is always a good idea to switch to vapes to get your smoking under control.

There are many myths surrounding vaping, and they dragged the vaping industry down in the past few years.

But with the industry currently making a solid recovery, there are a lot of flavors and innovations emerging in the industry. So make sure you head to a reliable vape retailer and pick up the perfect vape for yourself.
